The USA Girl Scouts Overseas is thrilled to present its inaugural in-person STEMinist gathering for Girl Scouts in Japan. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment, learn, tinker, and resolve challenges alongside fellow STEMinist Girl Scouts, earning a STEMinist fun patch.
This interactive session will be hosted at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, focusing on the fundamentals of robotics. Attendees will delve into the field of robotics by designing and constructing their own robot to take home!

Program Details
- Check-in will commence at 8:30 AM, with the program starting sharply at 9:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. Punctuality is essential!
- The registration fee of $35 covers all necessary materials, the Future STEMinist fun patch, a take-home robot, and a snack.
- Only registered Girl Scouts are eligible to attend. If a participant is not yet a registered Girl Scout, registration can be completed at checkout by selecting the Girl Scout Membership add-on.
- The program is a drop-off event; parents and siblings cannot be accommodated. However, adult volunteers are welcome! Interested individuals can add a Volunteer ticket when registering. If no volunteer tickets are available, all positions may be filled.
- This program is open to all grade levels, from Girl Scout Daisies to Ambassadors.
- A confirmation email with program specifics will be sent one week before the session, to the email address provided during registration.
