Entry requires a ticket: Attendees must bring either a printed or digital version of their ticket.

Signing of postcards, photos, or other books will not be permitted.

Can already purchased books be brought along? Attendees are welcome to bring their previously purchased books, though support for the local bookstore, Wist - Der Literaturladen, through on-site purchases is encouraged. Is a personal dedication possible? Due to time constraints, personal dedications will not be available, ensuring that all ticket holders can receive two signed copies if desired. Are selfies or photo or video recordings allowed? Selfies are not permitted; however, a staff member will gladly take a photo of the attendee with Ms. Merkel using their phone. Other forms of photo or video recording are not allowed. When can attendees start lining up? Arriving no more than 30 minutes before the session is recommended. How much time should attendees plan for? Due to possible delays, adequate waiting time should be factored in. Can someone arrive spontaneously for the signing session? Unfortunately, entry to the bookstore is restricted to individuals who can present a free ticket. What else should be noted? Carrying large bags and backpacks exceeding A4 size is not allowed, and any bags brought will be checked.
